Nacre is a journal app for iOS and Android where every page can attach to what you are living through and the people who matter, so you can reread a whole thread rather than a run of dates.

One paragraph

Nacre is a journal app for iPhone, iPad and Android. You write in it as you would in any journal — text, photos, voice notes, place, mood — but every page can be attached with one tap to a “quest” (a project, a relationship, a transition you are living through) and to the people who recur in your life. Opening a quest or a person then returns every page that belongs to it, in order: rereading by thread, which a chronological journal cannot do. The narrative vocabulary is deliberately conceptual — there are no points, levels or badges. The app works entirely offline and without an account, contains no trackers, and its AI writing layer is off by default. Nacre is built by an independent developer in France.
